Hotworks

 

A clear, concise, and accountable Hot-Works management system is key for fire safety across studios. 

FireLens provides a simple, process driven Hot-Works permit system together with active monitoring of all active hot-works across the studio on the Live Map. 

Department teams request a hotworks permit using FireLens. Following an approval process using production and/or studio user groups the HWP is automatically generated by FireLens. The HWP can be printed and displayed where necessary. 

A QR Code is generated on the permit enabling it to be ‘activated/deactivated’ when in use/dormant. This information is displayed on the LiveMap, ensuring a real-time view of hazardous processes occurring across the studio. 

Studio/Production Fire Safety teams can view and spot check Hot Works permits to ensure compliance with safe systems of work, this is recorded against the permit for auditing.
